What is nutritional yeast?
Nutritional yeast is specially grown and processed from primary yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast, inactivated by heat and roller drum dried into delicate golden flakes. It is not suitable for baking but adds flavour and nutrients to dishes. It is especially desirable for vegans as it is a source of natural vegan vitamin D, adds vitamin B12 and provides an excellent cheesy taste to plant-based diet.
How to use?
Just sprinkle it on salads, soups, pastas, popcorn, spreads or make a fantastic vegan cheese-flavoured sauce while adding flavour and loads of nutrients. Just 2 spoonful a day sprinkled on food is enough to provide you with the B vitamins and Zinc you need and to add vegan vitamin D to your diet. This 1 Kg resealable package is great for family use or for an ardent user. It keeps the nutritional yeast well protected from moisture and extends its shelf life. We still recommend to keep the product in dry conditions away from direct heat.

These cheesy, umami flavoured flakes are a good source of natural vegan vitamin D, they are also rich in B 12 and B complex vitamins, folic acid and zinc. It also adds complete proteins and natural fibre to any savoury dish.
