What is tofu cream?
Tofu cream is a sweet dessert with lemon and vanilla taste resembling curd dessert. It contains primarily soft tofu mass which is made from soya beans.
How to use tofu cream?
Tofu cream with lemon and vanilla is a ready to eat like any other curd dessert. But you can use it also to make a vegan cheesecake or try the worlds’ simplest vegan pasha recipe.
You need 1 Bon tofu cream with lemon and 2 packs of plant based whipping cream.
1. Whip the cream
2. Mix it with tofu cream
3. If you like, add almonds, raisins, dried berries, marmelade etc to the mixture
4. Cover a strainer with cheesecloth or gauze (marli) and pour the mixture in. Plaze the strainer over a bowl and stack it with plate and weights (for example some cans of beans). Let it stay in fridge overnight.
Tofu cream is rich in protein and low in saturated fat.
Our tofu is always GMO- free as are all our tofu products according to EU regulation 1830/2003, which requires to clearly label the products that contain GMO. So, any soya product label in Europe that does not state that it does contain GMO, can be safely used as GMO- free.
